Monyash lies in the White Peak, the more mellow southern part of the Peak District National Park and is thought of as a typical English village with village green, ancient stone cross, pub, and pond. However, unlike other White Peak settlements, Monyash lies on a bed of clay, which forms a lining for the pond and makes it watertight. Fere Mere is the only survivor of five ponds constructed many years ago in the village.
Just a short drive from the market town of Bakewell, the village is an absolute gem with its pretty stone cottages and quiet country lanes. The beautiful Lathkill Dale is nearby.
A popular stopping off spot for walkers and cyclists.
Every piece we create tells a story and fades into white, leaving the viewer with the impression of a world outside the scene, and a story yet to be told. In fact every piece comes to you with a story about it with an accompanying card with your wall art or on the reverse of the greetings card.
Each print takes many hours to produce, using layers, masks, overlay, textures and creative techniques to produce a fine art piece you will be proud to have in your home. We do not use automated processes of any sort.
