In times gone by, Edale was a dangerous place, heavily wooded and wild animals prowled freely. Gradually, farmsteads appeared and clearings made along the valley, and these became the booths or settlements we see today linked by the packhorse routes followed by the drovers as they carried their wares along the valley from Cheshire, heading down Jacobs Ladder, through Grindsbrook and Ollerbrook booth before heading up Jaggers clough and out of the valley at the far end. This old farm roller sat for many years decaying by the path between Grindsbrook and Ollerbrook booths and formed a timely reminder of times gone by.

Every piece we create tells a story and fades into white, leaving the viewer with the impression of a world outside the scene, and a story yet to be told. In fact every piece comes to you with a story about it with an accompanying card with your wall art or on the reverse of the greetings card.

Each print takes many hours to produce, using layers, masks, overlay, textures and creative techniques to produce a fine art piece you will be proud to have in your home. We do not use automated processes of any sort.
